Final Semester Blues

This is it - my final semester which includes 22 credits of classes and my BFA show in April. Luckily the Melancholy Objects are slowly coming together ahead of time in preparation for the inevitable nervous breakdown, bout of pneumonia, anxiety disorder. My first plan of attack is stealth committee cancellations - I figure that if I cancel every one of my committee meetings I won't have to politely put up with some of their off-the-wall suggestions. The way I view my committee's purpose - I come to the table with samples of what I want to show and ask for a suggestion or 2 on display, quantity, where to get cheap wine. The way my committee views their purpose - commandeer Jocelyn's show to make it their own. The power struggle has begun!!
